Who we are

This website is run by Gentle Years Living (“we”, “us”), the publisher of the digital guide Comfort & Nourishment After 60. This policy explains what information is involved when you visit this website or buy the guide, and how it is used.

Information this website collects

This is a simple, static website. It has no user accounts, sign-up forms or comment boxes, and it does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

• Hosting logs. Our hosting provider, Netlify, automatically processes basic technical information (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request) to deliver the website and keep it secure. See Netlify’s privacy policy.
• No browser storage. This version does not use cookies, local storage or session storage. Buying and downloading happen through the links shown on the page.
• No third-party embeds. Fonts and images are served from this website itself, not from outside services.

When you buy the guide

Our “Get the guide” buttons take you to our product page on Payhip, the platform that sells and delivers the guide. Payhip, and the payment providers it works with (such as PayPal or Stripe), collect the details you enter at checkout, for example your name, email address and payment information, and process them under their own policies. See Payhip’s Privacy & Cookies Policy.

Payhip shares order information with us, such as your name, email address, what you bought and when. We never see or store your full card details.

How we use your information

• to deliver the guide and help if you have trouble downloading it;
• to answer your messages and handle refund requests;
• to keep the records required for accounting, tax and legal purposes.

We don’t sell or rent your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep order information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including any period required by law for accounting and tax records.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, send us a message through our Payhip store’s contact page. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

This website and the guide are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
